If you use Outlook.com (formerly Hotmail) or Messenger (Windows Live), you already have a Microsoft Account. If you need to create a Microsoft Account, you can do so from within the sign-up process.

   • The Microsoft Account is free, and you can use your existing email address to create one. If you don't have an email address, one will be created during the sign-up process.

   Enter your account information. You will need to enter your name, age, and security information during the account creation process. Your date of birth determines whether or not your account can access adult content. You cannot change your date of birth later.^[1]
